Planner and more

The Windows port is coming along nicely and we have most of the patches committed to CVS. There are still some bits and pieces that I don't want to put in CVS, like a version of recent-files full of ifdefs. Other than that, we've managed to get the number of ifdefs down considerably which is nice. There are a few old crufty parts that I'd like to get rid of in the regular version, like GnomeProgram but it's needed for the help system and accessibility to be setup properly.

Oh and we now have a developer page set up for Planner, based on mediawiki to make it easy for the rest of the Planner community to help out maintaining it.

GUADEC
I was trying to figure out something to say about this whole GUADEC thing, but I think I'll just shut up. Everyone seems to think it's about the money, when it's really the attitude people are questioning.

The strangest part is that when you actually arrive at GUADEC it's still the same fun hacker event that is has always been, it's just the presentation and the way it's setup with the registration etc that has become a bit out of touch with the most important target audience, the hackers.
