Busy
Pet projects
I've been busy with work lately, and not really having any time for my pet projects like Jamboree or Planner. Planner fortunately has a life of its own though :) Kurt has started working on a nice installation guide, which I think will be useful since a lot of our users don't normally build things. Ideally people should install packages but they're not always available, especially the latest version. We do get a fair share of build related questions on the lists, so Kurt's guide will probably come in handy! Alvaro is hacking on his e-d-s backend, which I'm looking forward to seeing in action. Now I just need to put the Planner maintainer hat on and do some planning for the next release. Oh, and try to find some time to go through the bug list and fix a few small bugs as well.
GNOME
It's fun to see all the activity on the GNOME lists recently. It looks like people were close to exploding after the long freeze before GNOME 2.8 :) With 2.6, at least as I remember it, things were a lot more quiet after the release.
