Router

Went ahead and bought a gateway/firewall/wireless router today, which I should have done long ago. I can finally use my laptop without having any other computer running. It's nice and quiet and hopefully my apartment will become a little bit less warm as well.

As a bonus, the range for the wireless network seems to be a lot better so I can actually move around with the laptop ;)

Planner
I've started to take a closer look at Alvaro's nice e-d-s plugin for Planner and Jani's win32 work. We've even got the start of an MS Project XML importer that Kurt is working on, so there's a lot of activity going on!

Sound!
Another thing worth mentioning is that I've finally gotten the soundcard working on my Powerbook. Apparently, the recent models differ a bit, so the driver didn't recognize it properly. It was fixed a while ago in Linus' tree, and I took those changes and put them in my Debian kernel which worked perfectly. Yay!

Happy family

Wow, who'd think that I'd ever enjoy hacking on Planner again? :) I've spent some evenings fixing up a long standing problem which caused severe slowness when having many tasks. Alvaro is working on the database backend and thinking about evolution-data-server integration, while Xavier is working on the Python support and moving to GtkUIManager. All in all, we're a happy family ;)

On another note, I'm a proud man today, since I just won a prize. MVP!
