My monitor hates me.
Since I changed the resolution from 1280x1024 to 1400x1050, there's been a really high pitch sound coming from my monitor. I could lower the resolution or refresh rate, but I'd rather not. This is driving me completely crazy. I read about someone who opened up their monitor and applied some glue to the horizontal output transformer. I wonder if I should try that?

That's nothing. A high pitched noise I could deal with. I have two choices, deal with monitor flicker or drop the refresh rate to 60hz. One is annoying, the other almost burns my eyes of their sockets. I win. :)
